Achim Kempf

Professor Achim Kempf’s field of research is the Physics of Information and AI. Professor Kempf is based at the University of Waterloo near Toronto, Canada, where he is also an Associate Member at the Institute for Quantum Computing and the Perimeter Institute. He has held the Canada Research Chair in the Physics of Information at the University of Waterloo and he has chaired the International Society for Relativistic Quantum Information. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at Cambridge University.  He studied at the Universities of Heidelberg, Karlsruhe and Munich.
