Andreas Liebl

Dr. Andreas Liebl, Managing Director of appliedAI Initiative GmbH and appliedAI Institute for Europe gGmbH, follows the ambition to keep European Industry competitive in the Age of AI to shape a future we desire to live in. Working with more than half of the Dax companies and more than 100 Institutions per year, the initiative is already one of the largest in Europe in the field of applied artificial intelligence and answers the organizational, technological and strategic questions of companies with regards to the application of AI. He serves as expert for innovation and regulation of AI in the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) besides other advisory roles in e.g. the Plattform Lernende Systeme or KI Rat Bayern. Previous roles were Managing Director at UnternehmerTUM and consultant at McKinsey. He did his PhD at the Entrepreneurship Research Institute at the Technical University of Munich about the development of corporate culture and identity in start-ups.
