Anna Maria Braun, 46, is CEO of the B. Braun Group, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. With more than 64,000 employees, the family-owned company is a true partner that develops integrated solutions and sets groundbreaking standards to drive advancements in health care. In 2023, the B. Braun Group generated sales of 8.8 billion euros. Anna Maria Braun started her career at B. Braun in Asia. As President Asia Pacific, she was responsible for the company’s business in the entire region. She was appointed to the B. Braun Management Board in 2016 and CEO in April 2019. Anna Maria Braun is a lawyer. After graduating from the United World College Of The Atlantic (UWC) in Llantwit Major, UK, and studying languages at the Language and Culture University in Beijing, China, she studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany, and the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC, USA. She then worked as a lawyer at a major law firm in Düsseldorf.
