Astrid works as a Wall Street Correspondent for Handelsblatt, where she covers financial markets, crypto and monetary policy. She also follows close the intersection of technology and money. Astrid moved to New York in 2008, shortly before the financial crisis and has over the years interviewed star investors like Warren Buffett and Ray Dalio, Bankers like Jamie Dimon, CEO of the world’s biggest bank, JP Morgan Chase, and infamous crypto entrepreneur Sam Bankman Fried. She has received numerous awards for her work and was named Financial Reporter of the Year in Germany in 2024.
