Karsten Wildberger

Dr. Karsten Wildberger, born in 1969, comes from Gießen and holds a doctorate in physics. After working as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and international leadership positions at T-Mobile, Vodafone, Telstra (Australia) and E.ON, he was responsible as CEO at Ceconomy AG and Managing Director at Media-Saturn-Holding for the digital transformation of one of the biggest European retail companies. Under his leadership the online business was expanded and innovative digital business models were established. Since May 6 2025 he is Germanys first Federal Minister for Digital Affairs.
