Greta Heydenrych

Greta Heydenrych is the Editorial Director for the Health and Applied Science journals of Nature Portfolio. Prior to this, she was the Executive Director of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, the organisation that oversees nomenclature and digital standards for chemistry. From 2007 to 2022, Greta was a journal editor at Wiley, where she led the development of the Chemistry Europe journal portfolio by launching several new titles. Greta holds a PhD in computational chemistry from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and she did a postdoctoral stint at the Philipps-Universität Marburg.
