Panel: Tech Is Feeding the World?
Hila is the Deputy Head at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Innovation Accelerator, is the co-chair of the UN Innovation Network (UNIN) on behalf of WFP and an Advisory Board Member of the World Bank Group Innovation Awards. She connects the WFP Innovation Accelerator with global innovation networks, companies and impact actors to work towards Zero Hunger and to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Hila’s leadership contributed to the WFP Innovation Accelerator supporting more than 530 start-ups and innovations teams and being named as one of the ‘Best Workplaces for Innovators’, 'Most Innovative Companies (Non-Profit)' and an ‘Innovation Team of the Year’ by Fast Company. Hila received the Silver Anthem Award for Non Profit Leader of the Year in 2023.
Prior to joining WFP, Hila advised hi-tech clients (such as start-ups, venture capital firms and NASDAQ traded companies) as a corporate lawyer at a leading law firm in Tel Aviv. She holds an MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management (Italy) and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Haifa (Israel).
