Ilana Wisby

Dr Ilana Wisby is a deep-tech executive with over a decade of experience building and scaling frontier technology companies. She is best known as the founding CEO of Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC), one of Europe's leading quantum computing companies, where she led the business from university spinout to internationally recognised player, raising over £100m and establishing operations across the UK, Europe, and Asia.

Today she operates as a portfolio executive, holding board, advisory, and non-executive roles across quantum and dual-use technology, and serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence supporting the next generation of deep-tech founders. She also advises venture capital investors on technical due diligence in the sector.

A quantum physicist by training with a PhD in the field, Ilana bridges the technical and commercial worlds of frontier technology. She is a regular keynote speaker at major international technology and quantum conferences, and a recognised voice on the commercialisation of deep tech, European technology sovereignty, and the strategic importance of quantum.
