Johannes Steger

Johannes Steger is co-author of Germany in a State of Emergency – What Happens If We Are Attacked, published by Hoffmann & Campe in September 2025. He heads the Digital Crisis Management division at the strategy consultancy FGS Global. Until June 2025, he was the editor-in-charge of the “Background” briefings on cyber security, digitalisation & AI, and smart cities at the Tagesspiegel. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant and was the technology and start-ups editor at the Handelsblatt.
