Kirsten Ludowig has been deputy editor of Handelsblatt since 2021 tasked with the editorial management of news and content.
In 2024 she assumed responsibility for the on-going process of transformation, the editorial budget and Human Resources.
Kirsten graduated from Ruhr University Bochum with a degree in economics. She joined Handelsblatt in 2008 and held positions as a business reporter and desk editor. In 2020 she returned as editor of the Companies & Markets section, having spent the previous two years in a senior position in external communications for a large listed German corporate.
She is a lead founder of PULSE, the women’s business network of Handelsblatt Media Group.
