Kristín Björg Arnardóttir

I am a physicist that has been in academia until I joined MQS in early 2025. I studied in Iceland and Sweden, before doing a PhD in physics at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. After that I worked as postdoctoral research fellow at the University of St Andrews, studying light-matter coupling and open quantum systems. I then moved to Denmark for a short postdoctoral position at University of Southern Denmark, where I worked at POLIMA (a center of excellence focused on light-matter interactions).
I now work at MQS, where I continue to collaborate with researchers and other companies to develop our quantum computing direction.
