Nikita Popov

Nikita Popov is the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Strategy Office at Novartis, based in Basel, Switzerland. Nikita steers the strategy and execution of AI transformation across Novartis value chain. Closely involved in the company's core focus priorities in R&D and Commercial, Nikita works with teams to apply AI in fields of early research such as target identification, chemistry and safety, as well as clinical trial transformation. Nikita steers the enterprise-wide GenAI and Copilot roll-out programs.

Nikita's educational background is in software engineering and cryptography, he also holds MBA from IMD and Chief Digital Officer degree from MIT.
