Peter Bohrer

Peter Bohrer is a Senior Executive Advisor and independent business consultant based in Rheinbach, Germany, with more than 40 years of leadership experience in the German Armed Forces and over five years of consulting experience in the international defense industry.
During his military career, he held several senior leadership positions, including Deputy Inspector of the Joint Support Service and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff.
He also served as Deputy Defense Attaché in Moscow and as Head of Logistics for the German Armed Forces.
His expertise includes military policy, defense logistics, military procurement, in-service support of weapon systems, outsourcing projects, and civil-military cooperation.
Peter Bohrer has extensive experience managing national and international defense programs as well as disaster relief operations.
Since retiring from active military service in 2019, he has been working as an independent advisor to clients across the defense and security sector.
He studied Economics and Organizational Sciences at the Bundeswehr University Munich and completed General Staff training at the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
In addition to his advisory work, he is an author and contributor to numerous publications on NATO transformation, military mobility, and leadership training.
