Su Yang

Su Yang is BNPP's Head of AI & Innovation for IT Group and for Transactional Banking, his role consists of enabling seamless experimentation, accelerating secure and sustainable production in a cost-effective and explainable way by providing group AI infrastructure and designing high-value AI business cases for BNP's Cash Management and Transactional Banking activities and its delivery including supervision of IT development. Prior to BNP Paribas, Su was chief data officer at the General Directorate for Public Finances (DGFiP), his service was in charge of developing and maintaining the DGFiP's Big Data Infrastructure, of AI and data visualisation activities, of data governance and of circulation of data. Su has an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a joint master’s degree in data science and cybersecurity from Ecole Telecom and Ecole des Mines in France and a member of Corps des Mines. Su also has experience as data scientist at Ubisoft and as AI & Fintech expert for public policy at the French bank and insurance supervisor before joining BNP Paribas.
