Thomas Grübler

Thomas Grübler is the co-founder and Chief Strategic Officer of OroraTech, a NewSpace company founded in 2018, which he has helped grow into a global leader in satellite-based wildfire monitoring and management. Today, OroraTech employs around 180 people worldwide, and its systems are used by governments, fire departments, and commercial organizations across multiple continents. Moreover, the company is currently assessing dual use applications of the technology, helping to secure defence and security across Europe. Thomas´ interest in wildfire prevention and response is informed by his engagement with the volunteer fire brigade. After earning a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from TU Munich, he founded OroraTech together with former student companions, contributing early expertise in programming and technology development. As CSO, he is responsible for the company’s strategic growth, international expansion, and long-term vision. Since 2025, he also serves as CEO & President of OroraTech USA, leading the expansion of the U.S. business and strengthening partnerships with local authorities and organizations.
