TECH 2026

Bootcamp Registration

The TECH Bootcamp is a hands-on workshop series that allows participants to collaborate to outline best practices in emerging fields or overcoming current challenges facing industry. By bringing key players to the table and allowing them to get their hands dirty in searching for a solution, the outcome is truly more than the sum of its parts.

DAY 1

01 June 2026

You have the Data. You have the Models. Where is the Value?

Location: Bootcamp 1 | Time: 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Aleph Alpha – The Opposite of Good are Good Intentions

Location: Bootcamp 1 | Time: 11:15 am - 12:30 pm

In a quick bootcamp, we’ll teach decision makers how AI can really do what they want them to do, why the largest models often fail in specialized environments and help them strategize about how to advance their AI usage. All based on real-world experience.

The bootcamp explores how businesses and the public sector can regain digital sovereignty through specialized large language models and reduce their dependence on foreign hyperscalers. It highlights current security risks and compliance challenges, emphasizing the importance of transparency and full control over model behavior.

Because when it comes to AI adoption, the 'good intentions' of a generic rollout rarely unlock value. We’ll show how to execute a truly good, sovereign AI strategy – one that avoids costly compliance traps and delivers measurable business value.

Who has the Right to Win when AI Restacks the Knowledge Economy?

Location: Bootcamp 2 | Time: 12:30 pm - 13:45 pm

As AI reshapes how knowledge is created, distributed, and applied, the foundations of competitive advantage are shifting. This session invites participants to explore how value moves when expertise becomes augmented, workflows become AI-mediated, and decision-making increasingly relies on systems rather than individuals.

Through a futures-driven approach, we will challenge assumptions about ownership, capability, and control, and explore what it means to remain relevant in a landscape where “who knows” is replaced by “who orchestrates”. The session will combine provocations, signals, and hands-on reflection to help leaders identify where they may be optimising what is no longer future-fit, and where new opportunities for positioning and value creation emerge.

Beyond GenAI: Why Neuro‑Symbolic and Physical AI will run Enterprise Growth and drive Value

Location: Bootcamp 1 | Time: 13:45 pm - 15:00 pm

Using Horváth’s proven AI‑to‑EBIT approach and cutting-edge tools, the session shows how concrete business challenges can be turned into scalable AI solutions that drive efficiency, support management decisions, and deliver measurable EBIT impact.

Location: Bootcamp 2 | Time: 13:45 pm - 15:00 pm

Next Gen Perspectives: Europe’s Technological Future

Location: Bootcamp 1 | Time: 15:00 pm - 16:15 pm

What defines the leaders of tomorrow — and how are they already shaping the world of the day after tomorrow? In this exclusive session, two outstanding next-generation leaders join Tanja Kewes (Handelsblatt) and Kirsten Rulf (BCG) for an open conversation on mindset, impact, and the role of young decision-makers in Europe’s tech ecosystem.

Wargaming the future of AI: stress-test your strategy against three evidence-based scenarios.

Location: Bootcamp 1 | Time: 16:15 pm - 17:05 pm

Most strategies are built for the AI of today and quietly assume tomorrow be faster but much the same. In this bootcamp, you'll wargame your organisations against the appliedAI Institute's three AI scenarios for the next 36 months: Plateau, Continued Pace, and Accelerated. You leave knowing where your plan holds, where it breaks, and what you can already do today.

From Problem to Partnership: A Framework for Co-Innovation

Location: Bootcamp 2 | Time: 16:15 pm - 17:05 pm

The path to successful corporate-startup collaboration begins not with a solution, but with a deep understanding of the problem at hand. This workshop guides participants through the essential process of Problem Framing, using the proven Bridgemaker Framework to analyze specific business challenges and their organizational requirements. We will explore the full spectrum of engagement models - ranging from simple Venture Clienting and strategic investments to building new ventures and launching dedicated Accelerator tracks. Participants will learn how to distinguish these approaches and identify which strategy offers the highest probability of success for their unique situation. Through hands-on work with real-world use cases, we will evaluate concrete examples to determine the most effective partnership models. By the end of the session, you will have a clear roadmap for navigating the startup ecosystem and a set of actionable criteria for your next innovation project.
