André Schwämmlein is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Flix.
His belief in alternative, sustainable collective transport inspired him to discuss the possibility of a deregulated market with his current co-founders while he was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2009, and subsequently founded Flix in 2011.
As CEO of Flix, Schwämmlein is leading the company to deliver on the vision to enable its customers to experience the world. Under his leadership, Flix has become the clear global market leader in every core geography and expanded into numerous countries.
He is also active as a member of the supervisory boards of Scout24 SE and ABOUT YOU Holding SE and member of the green party in Germany since 2002.
