Yes, it's Rocket Science - A Startup's Journey into Space
Daniel Metzler is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of ISAR Aerospace, a Munich based company, developing orbital space launch vehicles with the vision of engineering the futrue of space flight. Daniel has co-founded the company in 2018 to develop the first purley privately financed European orbital launch vehicle to provide flexible, sustainable and costeffective access to space and lower the barries for commercial space access.
Before founding ISAR Aerospace, Daniel led a team of 40 students at the rocketry research group WARR (short for Sicentific Workgroup for Rocketry and Spaceflight), a scienfic workgroup situated at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Back then, Daniel and his co-founders already eveloped rocket engines for which they recevied first client requests – underlining the global surge in demand for flexible and affordable launchs services.
Daniel is an advisor to the European Space Agency and European governments on NewSpace strategy and commerciallization.
