Thomas Schulz, born in Germany in 1965, is the Group CEO of the international industrial services provider Bilfinger. Under his leadership, the German group has set the goal of enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of its customers in the process industry and establishing itself as the number one partner in the market. As a PhD engineer from RWTH Aachen with decades of industry expertise, Schulz is well-acquainted with the current challenges and opportunities in the industry. His professional career has taken him around the world, including stops in Sweden, Denmark and Singapore. Prior to joining Bilfinger, Schulz was CEO of the Danish technology and services company FLSmidth for almost a decade and before that he was a member of the board of the Swedish multinational technology company Sandvik.
