Robert Rosellen is an experienced executive with over 17 years in the IT industry. After earning a dual degree in International Business from Germany and France, he gained international experience at Flextronics and Bosch. He worked at Microsoft for 17 years, most recently as a member of the management team in Austria. He joined ServiceNow in 2021, initially responsible for the enterprise business in Germany, and has been Managing Director Germany since 2022. In his free time, he enjoys sports, traveling, and cooking.

European Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AIA)

With the Artificial Intelligence Act (AIA), the European Commission has presented a draft law to regulate artificial intelligence (AI), which regulates the use of AI in research and industry based on risk categories and even prohibits it if the risk is unacceptable. The law affects providers and users of AI systems within the EU, even if they are based outside the EU, and provides for high penalties in the event of violations to strengthen protection against automated decision-making and ensure data sovereignty.
