Inés Atug is a seasoned IT security expert with over a decade of experience in protecting complex financial infrastructures. She currently heads the Security Threat & Resilience Team at UniCredit Bank GmbH in Munich, where she leads strategic initiatives to identify, assess, and neutralize emerging cyber threats.

Her expertise spans penetration testing, threat intelligence, and incident response—with a strong track record in executing advanced security assessments, including TIBER-based testing and ransomware readiness evaluations. Recognized for her deep technical knowledge and results-driven approach, Inés plays a key role in elevating cyber resilience at an organizational level.

She holds prestigious industry certifications including GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and earned her MSc in Applied IT Security from the renowned Ruhr University Bochum.
