Artur Gruca is a member of the Executive Board of HypoVereinsbank and Chief Digital & Operating Officer of the bank. His area of responsibility includes driving the bank’s digital transformation, creating a seamless customer and employee experience, embedding digital and data across the bank, as well as cyber & corporate security and bank operations. Being passionate about computer science, technology and data, he spent the last 20 years of his professional career exploring these areas in practical applications across various business models. In his previous role as Chief Digital & Information Officer, he decisively drove the bank transformation, created digital division and strengthened value creation out of data, ai and technology. Prior to that, he held various CIO/IT leadership positions within UniCredit. Before he joined the bank, he worked for the management consultancy Accenture. He holds a degree in Computer Science (Master of Science) from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland.
